The mission of the National Alliance for Autism Research is to fund, promote and accelerate biomedical research and science-based approaches that seek to determine the causes, prevention, effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure for autism spectrum disorders. This mission includes providing grants to researchers for innovative, new pilot studies; mentoring fellowships to recruit new researchers to focus on autism; and funding larger, collaborative research programs that have the potential to yield major scientific advances in autism research.

Our personal message:
My name is William J. Gibbs Jr., Manager of Sales & Operations for Clean Sweep Services (CSS) of Clementon, NJ.
Like many who have family members with autism, I want to live to see a cure. My sister, Christina, was diagnosed with autism in her early elementary school years. Although she is happy and well cared for, Christina, now 29, will probably never be able to lead the normal life similar to other women her age.
Unfortunately, the worldwide medical community has not devoted nearly enough time and funding to autism research. But it doesn't have to be that way...
Please sponsor us online. Our company is scheduled to participate in the Walk F.A.R. for NAAR at Cooper River Park on June 12.
Online sponsorship is the most efficient way for me to raise funds for National Alliance for Autism Research - Greater Delaware Valley, a cause that's very important to me.
